Travel shapes youth (Montaigne), « what if you were to come to La Mhotte ? »
La Mhotte School has a long tradition of welcoming foreign students, who are welcome for stays of several weeks to several months.
The School places special emphasis on welcoming the upper class teenagers (from 13 to 16 years old), an age when the experience of the Other and Elsewhere is very precious. Depending on the time of year, students can take part in main lesson projects: traveling school (geology hikes to the Volcanoes of Auvergne every two years, trip to the Canary Islands (2019), to Sweden (2021), to the Faroe Islands (2023)), theater or eurythmy shows…
Students are welcomed into families of the school and share their daily life. Immersion is thus total, very favourable to learning French and beneficial to all!
A financial contribution of 280 euros per week is requested, which covers all the costs, at school and in the host family.
